Biography
Matthias Knapp - Born 1995 - Originally from New Berlin Wisconsin, I have always been fascinated by cameras. From as young as I can remember I loved playing with disposable film cameras. I learned to control them at a very early age with my parent's Powershot. That passion motivated me to get my first job at great clips at 14 years old, biking myself to work for $7/hr cleaning floors after school. It bought me my first real camera and set me on course for life. After high school I moved to the closest city, Milwaukee. There I got my degree in Television production and started my career. While in school I got my start as a student worker at Milwaukee PBS where I learned much of what I use today. From that I moved on to local news and started my freelance career. Now I'm settled into Longmont Colorado with years of experience in an exceptionally wide variety of roles and productions.
Versatile
I've done a little bit of everything in the world of video and stills. Broadcast sports, live music, weddings, corporate video, TV spots, social media marketing, documentary TV, scripted TV, music videos, etc... Currently fully equipped for most situations, and always ready to discuss renting tools and hiring additional talent as needed. Whatever you are looking for I'm sure I can help you out.
Passionate
There is nothing in life that drives me harder than the want to make beautiful video. There is nothing more gratifying to me than hearing someone happy with the video I made them. This is my life's passion and purpose. Every single production that I make I am trying my hardest to outdo the last. You can rest assured that I won't be happy until you are happy.
Professional
Having years of experience in all manner of production situations I am confident in my ability to adapt and respond well to all situations. If you need me to guide you through presenting yourself or plan a production from the ground up I will work with you and communicate confidently and comfortably. If instead I am needed to run camera or edit to bring another's vision to life I am always happy to fit in where needed. Wherever I am needed I will always help bring comfort, confidence, and passion to the project.
